ACT is available as a paper test, in few test centers an online test is available. However, the test format make little difference in the test.

TEST scores:
The ACT consists of four test scores: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. Each test score is rated on a 1-36 scale. The test score is determined by adding up the number of questions that you answered correctly on that test and then converting that to a scaled score
Composite score
This is an average of English, Mathematics, Reading and Science test scores. The composite score ranges form 1-36.
ELA SCORE (English, Language and Arts score)
This score is an average of English, Reading and writing tests scores, reported on a 1-36 scale.
STEM SCORE (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math score)
This score is an average of Science and Math test scores, reported on a 1-36 scale.
